An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 3/23/23. The provider and assistant was present with 12 children. A total of 23 points.Observed lunch , the children had rice, stew with black eyed peas, yogurt, peaches and carrots. After lunch the children played with puzzles, Built with counting logs, read stories with the provider and at the end of the inspection they went outside to play. Lots of positive interaction between caregivers and children. A violation notice was given to the provider at the same time as this inspection. Standard #: 8VAC20-770-60-C-2 Description: Based on the review of staff records, the provider does not have the required background check for one caregiver.
Evidence: A caregiver, caregiver 1, is missing the CPS check in her file. The subsequent CPS check has not been submitted, no record of the most recent records check.Plan of Correction: We will submit the CPS check this evening.
Standard #: 8VAC20-800-180-A Description: Based on the review of staff files, the provider failed to get an updated TB screening for an assistant.
Evidence: Reviewed 2 staff files during the inspection. staff 1 is missing a subsequent TB screening. The last TB test was conducted on 12/2/18.Plan of Correction: We will make sure the staff get the TB screening done.
