Technical Assistance:

Discussed TB screening, the provider does not need to get X-rays to fulfill the TB testing requirement. Discussed The portal needed for the central registry search

Comments:

The provider is present with two children in care, totaling 5 points. At the beginning of the inspection the children were napping. The woke up at the end of the inspection and discussed lunch and their soccer playing and things they found in the backyard during the morning hours. Lots of interaction between the provider and the children. The provider is doing lots of activities with the children and the relationships between them are evident by the easy interactions. Lunch today was salmon, rolls, cucumbers, asparagus, peppers, green beans, strawberries, blueberries and cupcakes. A violation notice was given to the provider with the inspection summary. Description:	Based on the review of the provider records, the provider failed to get a subsequent background check after 5 years. Evidence: The providers central registry check was last conducted in July of 2017.
Plan of Correction:	We will submit the Central registry check and email you a copy when we receive it.
Standard #:	8VAC20-770-40-D-4-a
Description:	Based on the review of the providers records, the provider failed to get subsequent Central registry checks conducted for a household member. Evidence: The providers did the criminal records check but did not submit new central registry checks. Last check was done July 2017.
Plan of Correction:	We will submit the Central registry check and send you a copy by email when we get it.
Standard #:	8VAC20-800-180-A
Description:	Based on the review of staff records, the provider failed to get a subsequent TB screening. Evidence: the last TB screening for the provider was done on 4/18/21.
Plan of Correction:	I will get a TB screening done when I go to my doctors appointment on Friday.
