Even though you report that you are not using the walker, it is located in the play room. Please remove the walker from all day care space during hours of operation.
You need to vary the time of day your conduct your monthly escape drills, The last five drills have been conducted during the 10 am hour.

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted with the provider, who was present with an infant, two toddlers, a 2 year old and 4 year old for a total of 14 points. The inspection took place from 1:40 pm to 2:35 pm.
First Aid/CPR is through American Safety Health Institute and is effective 2/25/23 to 2/25/ 25. The areas of non compliance is outlined on the violation notice.

Standard #: 8VAC20-800-830-A Description: Based on a review of the monthly escape drill log and interview, it was determined that emergency evacuation drills have not be practiced monthly.
Evidence:
There was no emergency escape drill conducted for February 2023.Plan of Correction: I will make sure to do monthly escape drills.
Standard #: 8VAC20-820-120-E-2 Description: Based on observation and interview, it was determined that the most recent findings ( dated 2/2/23) was not posted. Plan of Correction: I will post keep the most recent findings posted.
