An unannounced Monitoring inspection was conducted today. A total of 3 children (6pts) with the Provider and 1 assistant was present. The children had transitioned to nap time. All 3 children were observed laying on their cots and either asleep or falling asleep. Staff were observed sitting between the cots and gently rubbing the children's backs encouraging sleep. Observation of the program space, bathroom, kitchen and outdoor play space was made. The provider installed a new playset with mulch and a border to ensure the mulch remains in place. The provider indicated the children enjoy the new play equipment and with the weather warming up, they want to be outside daily. A total of 3 children's records, all staff and household records were reviewed. The home was found maintained and clean. No violations were found today.
