An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on August 11 2022 between 11:30am and 2:00pm. There were 3 children in the direct care of 3 caregivers. A review of staffing records, child records, household records, emergency drills, medication training, and the physical plant of the home was conducted. Standard #: 8VAC20-800-40-A Description: Based on direct observation, the provider did not ensure that the total number of children receiving care at any one time does not exceed the maximum licensed capacity.
Evidence: The home is licensed for 12 children. 13 children were observed in care during the inspection. The provider stated that one child was beginning care and another child was departing the family day home.Plan of Correction: Not available online. Contact Inspector for more information.
