A subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was conducted today to review supplemental health and safety requirements not covered in the licensing regulations. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date, and the two inspections combined cover all SHSI requirements. An area of non-compliance with the supplemental SHSI requirements was found. Standard #: 8VAC20-790-250-F Description: Based on records reviewed, the provider failed to ensure that cargiver completed a required annual training course. Evidence: There was no documentation that Caregivers #1 and #2 completed the Virginia Health + Safety Training course, as required annually for all childcare subsidy vendors. The course was last completed on 3/3/22. Plan of Correction: The provider said she was unaware that the course was required annually and that they will complete the course for 2023.
