An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today.
There were eight children present, (ages 6 mos-8yrs.) for a total of 16 points, with the provider and an assistant.
The children were playing with toys, eating lunch and watching a children's program before resting.
Three child records, two staff records were reviewed.

Standard #: 8VAC20-770-60-C-2 Description: Based on a review of staff files, the facility failed to ensure that each staff member has a central registry clearance on file within 30 days of employment.
Evidence:
1. There is no central registry clearance on file for staff #1. Hire date 10-4-22.Plan of Correction: The provider reported that a central registry form was completed and mailed within 30 days. It was never received back from Office Background Investigations. The provider called OBI this week and they reported that they never received the form. Staff #1 will complete a new form this week and mail it.
