An announced initial inspection was conducted from 10:00 am - 12:00 noon with the provider. There were no children in care during this inspection. Two caregiver/household member records were reviewed along with the provider's policies and procedures. The childcare area was observed and is organized and equipped with age-appropriate toys, supplies and equipment including arts and crafts materials, puzzles, dolls, balls, blocks, books and cars and trucks. There was one crib, in compliance with a manufacture date of 7/2020. Reviewed the first aid kit for completeness along with the battery operated flashlight and weather band radio. Required information was posted. The provider has current certification in CPR and First Aid but is not Medication Administration Training (MAT) certified and cannot administer medicine to children in care. The online compliance history includes only information after July 1, 2003. In addition, the online compliance history includes information regarding adverse actions that may be the subject of a pending appeal. An adverse action is not final until a provider has exhausted or waived all due process rights. For compliance history prior to July 1, 2003, or information regarding the status of pending adverse actions, please contact the Licensing Inspector listed in the facility's information.
