Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted at 12:15p. Observed 3 children totaling 9 points with 1 caregiver. Ratios and supervision were in compliance. The infants were napping while an older child played with toys quietly. Lunch served included rice, carrots, spinach, strawberries and milk. The daycare areas of the home were found to be clean and well supplied with toys and equipment for the children. The provider is participating in the VQB5 quality program. An area of non-compliance with standards and laws reviewed was found.

Description: Based on records reviewed, the provider failed to ensure that the emergency plan was reviewed annually. Evidence: The documentation on the emergency plan indicated it was last reviewed on 1/15/22.

Plan of Correction: The provider said she would review the emergency plan and document the review on the plan.
