Inspector and provider discussed attending Phase 2 training.

Comments:
A mandated monitoring inspection was conducted on July 26, 2023 from 12:00pm-12:50pm. There were 6 children (24 points) in care with 2 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. Children were observed playing freely. Babies were observed being held. A total of 5 child records and 2 staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Description: Based on record review, the provider did not have topical creams labeled and out of reach of children.

Evidence: Underneath the changing table, two diaper creams were observed without name labels. There were no permission slips signed by parents for the diaper creams.
