A renewal inspection was conducted on 08/16/2023 between the hours of approximately 8:40 am and 9:30 am. There were 6 children present, ranging in ages from 9 months and 9 years (13 points), with 2 caregivers supervising. The LI observed children as some were arriving, getting ready to be served breakfast and were playing freely with toys.
The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 2 child records and 2 caregivers records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Standard #: 8VAC20-800-780-B Description: Based on record review, the provider did not review with the parent, annually, the emergency contact information to ensure the information is correct and obtain the parent's signed acknowledgment of the review.
Evidence:
1) The most recent review of the emergency information in the record for Child #2 was dated 011/29/2021.Plan of Correction: I will contact the parents of Child #2 to get the update of the information in the record.
