8VAC20-790 Subsidy Program Vendor Requirements for Family Day Homes

A Subsidy Health and Safety monitoring inspection was conducted on August 15, 2023 between the hours of approximately 10:50 a.m. and 11:55 a.m. to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 9 children present with the Provider and 1 assistant for a total of 28 points within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed playing with blocks, doing tummy time and engaging in free play. Positive interactions were observed during this inspection. A complete inspection of the physical plant, children and caregiver records, fire drill log, menu, attendance and emergency procedures were observed during this inspection. There were 0 medications on site at this time. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements. Thank you for your cooperation today.
