- Technical Assistance:

1. Discussed rubber floor mats in the daycare area that are beginning to pull apart from the duct taped seams and could become trip hazards. Provider will monitor and adjust/secure mats as needed.
2. Close supervision is needed when children exit the daycare onto the deck and pass the HVAC unit to the right side of the door to ensure that children do not touch the unit while it's operating.

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted at 3:20pm. Observed 4 children totaling 12 points with 1 caregiver. Ratios and supervision were in compliance. Children were observed playing with toys, washing hands, having snack, and departing for the day. Each child brings their own food each day. The caregiver was actively engaged with the children and promptly tending to their needs. The daycare areas of the home were sufficiently supplied with toys and equipment for the children. No areas of non-compliance with standards and laws reviewed were found. and previously cited violations were corrected.
