Technical Assistance:

Consultation provided on the need to have the napping area lit enough to be able to see the sleeping children and to provide direct care and supervision at all times. Consultation provided on foods that present potential choking hazards such as hot dogs and to make sure before they are served to children under 4, hotdogs are cut lengthwise and then into small pieces.

Comments:

An unannounced initial inspection was conducted today due to a change in business entity. The inspection took place from 12:40 pm to 1:25pm. The provider was present with 7 children, ages ranging from 1 to 4 years. A second caregiver was present and supervising the napping children. One caregivers file was reviewed today. There were no medication on site and there have been no injuries/accident requiring documentation. There were no violations observed during this inspection.
