Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted from 11:30 am - 12:30pm with the provider. There were four children present, including one resident child, ranging from five months to two years of age, for a total of 13 points. Two infants were observed waking from a nap, having a diaper change, washing their hands and drinking a bottle. Two older children were preparing for naptime. Three child records were reviewed in addition to the written daily attendance, menu, and required posted information. One crib was inspected and it meets the US Consumer Product Safety Commission standards. It was reported that there were no medications on site, however the provider has current certification in Medication Administration Training (MAT) and can administer medication to children in care. If you have further questions about this inspection please contact Donna Liberman at 540-359-5244 or Donna.Liberman@doe.virginia.gov.
