Comments:
A renewal inspection was conducted on 8/31/2023 from approximately 10:30 a.m. ? 1:00 p.m. There were 3 children present ranging in ages from 1 ? years to age 2 ? with 1 provider supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, qualifications and training, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies, and nutrition. A total of 5 child records, 1 provider record, and 1 household member/substitute provider were reviewed. The information gathered during the inspection determined violations with applicable standards. A violation notice was issued. Please sign the violation notice and complete the ?plan of correction? and ?date to be corrected? for each violation cited on the violation notice and return it to me within 5 business days from today, 10/09/2023. Please specify how the deficient practice will be or has been corrected. Your plan of correction should contain: 1) steps to correct the noncompliance with the standard(s), 2) measures to prevent the noncompliance from occurring again; and 3) person(s) responsible for implementing each step and/or monitoring any preventive measure(s). Based on the water temperature, the hot water tap available to children were not maintained within the range of 105 degrees F and 120 degrees F.
Evidence:
Licensing Inspector tested the hot water in the bathroom used by children. The water temperature registered 122-degree F.
