A mandated monitoring inspection was conducted on September 21, 2023 from 3:30pm-4:00pm. There were 10 children in care (26 points) with 3 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. The children were observed waiting patiently to use the bathroom and to choose an activity. Children were observed playing independently on mats with a variety of different toys including toy houses, cars, doll houses, kitchen and cooking materials items, race trucks and garages. Infants were kept engaged by singing them songs and making faces and clapping hands. Staff helped children with activities and played along side them at times. A total of 2 child records and 3 staff records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
