A renewal inspection was conducted on October 3, 2023 approximately 9:25 am to 11:00 am. There were a total 2 children and 1 staff directly supervising. Children were observed resting, circle time, and using gross motor skills. Staff were actively engaged and interactive with the children.
The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 2 children records, 1 staff record, and 1 household record were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

date, if more than one infant is in care.

Standard #: 8VAC20-800-980-A Description: Based on review of children records, 2 out 2 records, the family day home provide did not have general written permission was not obtained from the parent of each child for the provider to take the child off the premises of the family day home.
Evidence:
1. On September 26, 2023, the provider acknowledged she took Child #2 for a walk during the time Licensing attempted a visit to the home.
