An unannounced Renewal inspection was conducted on October 16, 2023 and concluded on October 16, 2023. Upon arrival at 12:00 PM there were a total of 7 children under the care of 1 caregiver present. The Licensing Inspector reviewed 2 children?s records and 2 household/staff records, along with any requested program records submitted by the facility to determine if required documentation was complete.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-800-490 Description: Based on inspection, the Provider failed to ensure indoor slides and climbing equipment is not over bare floor.
EVIDENCE:
The indoor climbing/sliding equipment was positioned over ceramic/vinyl bare floor.Plan of Correction: Provider will install foam mats underneath the indoor climbing/sliding unit.
