An unannounced monitoring inspection was completed October 26, 2023 at 10:43 am to 11:33 am at the family day home. There were 3 children in care, 1 household child present ages infancy to 4 years with 1 caregivers supervising. The inspector completed observations of the child in care asleep in the assigned cribs during the inspection. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, personnel, physical health of caregivers and household members, caregiver training, physical equipment and environment, care of children, preventing the spread of disease, emergencies and nutrition. A total of 3 child record and 1 caregiver, and 2 household members records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Standard #: 8VAC20-800-180-A Description: Based on review of records and interview, the provider did not ensure to obtain a current report of tuberculosis screening for an adult household member.
Evidence: In Household member#2's record, the last dated TB was 10/13/2021. Interview with provider confirmed the documentation available for review during the inspection.Plan of Correction: The provider will ensure TB is completed and file in the record.
