An unannounced inspection was conducted today.
There were nine children present, (ages 14 mos-4 yrs) for a total of 22 points, with two caregivers.
The children were resting.
Two child records, and two staff records, were reviewed.

Standard #: 22.1-289.035-B-4 Description: Based on a review of staff files, the facility failed to ensure that all background checks are conducted with in the required timeframes.
Evidence:
1. There are no out-of-state central registry clearances on file for staff #1 & 2, both of whom indicated on their sworn statements that they had lived outside Virginia in the last five years.Plan of Correction: The provider reported that staff #1 & 2 will complete an out-of-state central registry clearance.
