Technical Assistance:
Reminder to complete and document 1 lockdown drill. Emergency evacuation drill should be conducted monthly. Two shelter-in-place drills need to be conducted and documented annually.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on November 2, 2023, from 11:40am to 12:50pm with the provider. There were two children in care with one residential child. The three children, ages 2, 3, and 4 years old, were in the care of 1 caregiver for a total of 6 points. The children were observed playing with toys in the daycare area. The children were also observed handwashing and preparing for lunch which included tuna fish and cheese sandwiches, broccoli, strawberries, oranges, and apple juice. Two children?s records were reviewed and in compliance. The provider?s record and one household member?s record were reviewed and in compliance. The provider has current certification in CPR and First Aid. There were no medications on site to be reviewed. The most recent emergency evacuation drill was documented as 10/03/2023. The most recent shelter-in-place drill was documented as 5/23/2023.
