Technical Assistance:
Discussed the possibility of a provisional license being issues due to the administrative issues.
When a regular license expires and the applicant is temporarily unable to comply with
the requirements of the regulations, the department may issue a provisional license for
any period not to exceed six months. A provisional license shall not be issued to a facility
or agency immediately following a conditional license. At the conclusion of the
provisional licensure period, the facility or agency must be in substantial compliance
with licensing standards or be denied a license to continue operation.

Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on 11/9/2023 from 8:55 to 10:40.
The provider and two assistants were present with 11 children, totaling 31 points. The children were observed arriving for the day, playing and doing art projects. Lots of interaction between caregivers and children. The provider has lots of materials and space for the children in care. She is serving stew and bananas, blueberries and apples today for lunch
Discussed the administrative part of being licensed, although the provider has great programming and a very caring environment, she has a hard time keeping up with the administrative part of being licensed. After last inspection she was offered assistance from the LI but declined. Several violations related to the administrative part of being licensed was cited at this inspection. One repeat citation. A violation notice was given to the provider along with this inspection summary. Reviewed 4 household member records, 3 staff records and 4 children's records during this inspection.
