Evidence:
1. Child #2 was sitting in a high chair upon entrance of the family day home. the safety strap was not securely fastened.Plan of Correction: The children are usually strapped into the high chairs when occupied. Caregivers will ensure to secure the safety strap of the high chair when occupied.
Standard #: 8VAC20-800-680-B Description: Based on observation, caregivers did not ensure that children's hands were washed with liquid soap and warm running water before eating.
Evidence:
1. Caregiver #2 served snack to five children sitting at a table. Caregiver #2 did not wash the five children's hands with liquid soap and warm running water before eating.Plan of Correction: Caregivers will ensure to wash the children's hands with soap and warm running water before eating. Caregivers will be retrained.
