Reviewed the requirements for administering medication to include training/certifications, storage, documentation and procedures/polices.

Comments:

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 10:25 AM to 11:40 AM. At the time of entrance, 2 children (age range 2 to 3) totaling 4 points were in care with 1 provider. The sample size consisted of 5 children?s records and 1 provider records. Children were observed watching tv, playing freely and eating. Description:	Based on record review and provider interviews, the provider did not ensure annually, the provider shall review with the parent the emergency contact information required to ensure the information is correct, and obtain the parent's signed acknowledgment of the review. Description:	Based on observation and provider interviews, the provider did not ensure that potentially poisonous substances, materials and supplies such as, but not limited to, cleaning agents, disinfectants, deodorizers, plant care chemicals, pesticides, and petroleum distillates shall be stored away from food in areas inaccessible to children. Evidence: The bottom cabinet in the restroom was accessible to the children incare and there was a container of disinfectant and cleaner. These items were labeled "keep out of reach of children" and labeled with at least one other statement "warning", "flammable" and "hazardous".
