An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on November 20, 2023 between the hours of approximately 12:45 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. There were 2 children present with the Provider for a total of 5 points within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed engaging in free play and watching a show on a tablet. Positive interactions were observed during this inspection. A complete inspection of the physical plant, children records, fire drill log, menu, and attendance were observed during this inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Thank you for your cooperation. If you have any questions, please e-mail me at tameika.king@

Standard #: 22.1-289.058
Description: Based on observation and caregiver interview, the provider did not equip the home, that was built before 2015 and serves preschool-age children, with at least one carbon monoxide detector.

Evidence: When asked about the location of the carbon monoxide detector, Caregiver #1 stated that there is not a carbon monoxide detector in the home.

Plan of Correction: I will buy one.

A compliance history is in no way a rating for a facility.

The online compliance history includes only information after July 1, 2003. In addition, the online compliance history includes information regarding adverse actions that may be the subject of a pending appeal. An adverse action is not final until a provider has exhausted or waived all due process rights. For compliance history prior to July 1, 2003, or information regarding the status of pending adverse actions, please contact the Licensing Inspector listed in the facility's information. The Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS) is not responsible for any errors in or omissions from the compliance history information.
