Discussed completing the 3 hour updated Va Preservice training annually and provided guidance completing orientation training requirements for subsidy that are not required in the standards.

A subsidy inspection was initiated on November 28, 2023 . A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-790-180-B Description: Based on observation and staff interview, the vendor did not ensure there was record of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child as it occurs.
Evidence:
On November 28, 2023 at 10:00am, there were 2 children present but there was not documentation of arrival as it occured. Confirmed by documentaiton and Provider.Plan of Correction: My self and staff will sign in all children as they come in
Standard #: 8VAC20-790-250-D-1 Description: Based on staff interview and record review, the vendor did not ensure all caregivers have current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation CPR.
Evidence:
Staff #4 did not have a current CPR . Staff #4 hire date 10/10/2022.Plan of Correction: Printed current CPR for staff and added to her file
Standard #: 8VAC20-790-250-D-2 Description: Based on record review and staff interview, the vendor did not ensure that all staff have a current certification in first aid appropriate to the ages of children in care.
