An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 10:45 - 11:45am with the provider. There were seven children present, ranging from 17 months to four years of age, for a total of 15 points. Children were observed completing a seasonal arts and crafts project and playing with a variety of age-appropriate toys. One child was observed napping. Three child records, three provider/household member records, the emergency drill log, written daily attendance, and menu were reviewed. It was reported that there were no medications on site, and the provider does not have current certification in Medication Administration Training (MAT) so cannot administer medication to children in care.

Standard #: 22.1-289.035-A Description: Based on review of three provider/household member records, and an interview with the provider, it was determined that not all repeat Office of Background Investigations (OBI) fingerprinting-based criminal history record checks were completed every five years as required. Evidence: the record for provider #1 and household member #2 contained an expired OBI fingerprint determination letter dated: 7/17/2018. Plan of Correction: Not available online.
