1. Inspector will send model emergency drill form that includes the required annual lockdown drill for subsidy vendors.
2. Inspector will verify that the 10-hour subsidy orientation training was completed as the provider was unable to show the inspector a copy and indicated that she may have taken the class 6 years ago.

A subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was conducted today to review supplemental health and safety requirements not covered in the licensing regulations. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date, and the two inspections combined cover all SHSI requirements. No violations of the supplemental SHSI requirements were found, though at least one area was not determined. Questions about this inspection may be directed to pamela.sneed@doe.virginia.gov
