8VAC20-790 Subsidy Program Vendor Requirements for Family Day Homes

A Subsidy Health and Safety monitoring inspection was conducted on December 14, 2023 between the hours of approximately 12:30 p.m. and 1:35 p.m. to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 4 children and 2 caregivers present for a total of 11 points. Children were observed watching television, reading books, and arriving to the family day home. 3 children's records and 2 caregiver records were reviewed. A walk-through of the home, and inspection of the physical plant, fire drill log, menu, and emergency procedures was completed. There were 0 medications on site at this time. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements. Thank you for your cooperation today.
