Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 12/07/23 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. with the provider. There was one children in care, 2-years-old, for a total of two points. Child was observed eating breakfast. One child records, one staff record, and one household member records were reviewed. The provider has current certification in CPR and First Aid. No medications were on site and the understands that they must obtain certification in Medication Administration Training (MAT) in order to give medication. The first aid kit, flashlight, weather band radio, and fire extinguisher were observed. The emergency drill log, attendance, and menu were also reviewed. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Plan of Correction: The last inspection documents are there in the folder.

Standard #: 8VAC20-800-920
Description: Based on observation and interview with the provider, the provider did not have documentation of a menu for the current week.

Evidence: The menu for the current week was not posted or in an area accessible to parents and an interview with the provider revealed the menu for the current week was not created yet.

Plan of Correction: Post the food menu for two weeks on the wall
