An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today. There were 7 children (17 points) with 2 caregivers present.
Children were observed washing hands, working on the letter "L", watching cartoon, eating lunch and preparing for rest time.
3 child, 2 caregiver and 3 household member records were reviewed.
See Violation Notice for non-compliances cited today.
Cribs, fridge/freezer temps, sleeping area, first aid supplies, emergency supplies and bottle labeling were all in compliance today.

Standard #: 22.1-289.035-A Description: Based on a review of records, one caregiver record did not contain documentation of a repeated nationwide fingerprint search within the allowable 5 year period.
Evidence:
Caregiver B's record contained a nationwide fingerprint search that was dated 12/4/2018.(expired).Plan of Correction: The person went to have them done, but needed another document. An appointment is scheduled for 12/16/23.
Standard #: 22.1-289.058 Description: Based on provider statement, there is no carbon monoxide detector installed in the home.
Evidence:
No CO2 monitor is available for use today.Plan of Correction: I will purchase and install a detector.
