Comments:
A renewal inspection was conducted on 12/18/2023 from 1:36 p.m. ? 4:45 p.m. There were seven children present during the inspection. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, qualifications and training, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies, and nutrition. Five children?s records, three provider records were reviewed. The information gathered during the inspection determined violations with applicable standards. A violation notice was issued. Please sign and complete the ?plan of correction? and ?date to be corrected? for each violation cited on the violation notice and return it to me within 5 business days. Your plan of correction should contain: 1) steps to correct the noncompliance with the standard(s), 2) measures to prevent the noncompliance from occurring again; and 3) person(s) responsible for implementing each step and/or monitoring any preventive measure(s). Description: Based on observation and interview, the provider exceeded 16 points based on the
ages of the children in care without an additional caregiver being present.
Evidence:
On 12/18/2023, the inspector observed the provider upon arrival at the home providing
single supervision of seven children (19 points). The provider reported the second caregiver, P2,
was away from the home at an appointment. Caregiver P3 arrived approximately 30 minutes later. The provider acknowledged exceeding 16 points based on the number and ages of the children in care when the inspector arrived.
