A mandated monitoring inspection was conducted on January 12, 2024 from 12:30pm-1:15pm. There were 12 children in care (44 points) with 3 staff supervising. Children were observed sleeping. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 2 child records and 3 staff records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-800-830-A Description: Based on record review and interview, the provider did not complete a monthly emergency evacuation drill.
Evidence: The provider stated they forgot to complete a fire drill for the month of December 2023.Plan of Correction: We will make sure to complete the monthly drills.
