An unannounced renewal study was conducted from 11:45 am - 12:45 pm. There were eight children in care with the provider and one assistant for a total of 17 points. The children were observed eating lunch and preparing for nap. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of five child records, two staff records, and three household member records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Standard #: 22.1-289.036-A Description: Based on observation of three household member records it was determined that not all background checks were repeated every five years. Evidence: The most recent central registry check on file for household member A is dated 11/30/2018. Plan of Correction: The provider has obtained an up to date central registry check for household member A.
