An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on 02/15/2024from 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. There were 4 children present, ranging in ages from five months to three years with two staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of one child record and two staff records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-800-90-A Description: Based on review of records and interview, the provider failed to obtain documentation the the child has been adequately immunized before the child attends the family day home.
Evidence:
1. Child #1?s start date was 11/29/2023. The immunizations on file were dated 01/12/2024. Staff #2 confirmed that the immunization had not been obtained before the child attended the family day home.Plan of Correction: Not available online. Contact Inspector for more information.
Standard #: 8VAC20-800-210-A Description: Based on review of records and interview, the provider failed to ensure that all caregivers obtain a minimum of 16 hours of training annually.
Evidence:
1. For the 2022-2023 training year, Staff #2 completed 15 hours of training.
