An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on February 23, 2024 between the hours of 8:37am - 11:00am. There were 7 children directly supervised by 2 caregivers. The home, 2 caregiver records, 5 children?s records, and 2 household member?s records were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed playing freely , singing, dancing, eating breakfast and napping. There was an assortment of age-appropriate materials for children. The home was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.

Standard #: 22.1-289.036-A Description: Based on record review, the provider did not ensure each household member has a completed background check every five years from the date of the most recent background check.
Evidence:
Household member 3 had a fingerprint based background check that is dated over five years ago.Plan of Correction: I will register her for her fingerprints today.
