An unannounced Monitoring Inspection was conducted today. A total of 10 children were present with the Provider and 2 assistants. The older children were sitting at a table coloring popsicle sticks and gluing them together to make stars. Staff were within arm's reach to assist and guide them with the project. Handwashing procedures were observed after the art project just before the children transitioned to floor play. The children were engaged with legos, books with one staff as the other staff was observed sanitizing the table to prepare for lunch. One infant was observed being held while being bottle fed. Lunch today was white beans, tomato sauce and rice with peaches and milk to drink. The staff were observed sitting with the children while they ate. Some children requested second helpings. Observation of the programming area, toy room, crib room and bathroom was made. A total of 5 children's files and all staff files were reviewed. No medication needs at this time and no identified food allergies. The previous violations from the last inspection were reviewed and corrective actions were verified today.
