An unannounced Renewal inspection was conducted today. There were a total of 8 children (13pts) with the Provider and 1 Assistant. The children were engaged in various activities centered around the them of primary colors. Today's color was yellow. At one table on child was observed playing with yellow playdoh. Staff were assisting children at a painting table where they were coloring with yellow paint adding to the color wheel they had in progress. A sensory table with various colors and pompoms, a light table that had primary colored shapes to stack together to discover other colors was available to them. One medication onsite today. Plans were underway for an art show tomorrow for parents to attend and see painted artwork completed by the children. Positive interaction was observed between staff and children. The home was maintained and equipped with materials and equipment age and stage appropriate for the children currently in care. No new staff since the last inspection. A total of 5 children's, 2 staff certifications and 2 household member files were reviewed and determined complete. This inspection occurred between 9:30am and 10:35am.
