Discussion on the sealed-off fireplace. Please obtained documentation from a chimney inspector to indicated that it is no longer operational.
Discussion of background checks for Staff #2 will soon expire later this year. At that time, the out-of-state checks will be outside of the 5-year window and therefore, will not need to be renewed. Only those checks required for Virginia and the sworn statement will need to be updated.

This monitoring inspection was initiated by licensing staff and concluded on 03/05/2024, between the hours of 10:30 am to 12 pm. There were 7 children, plus 1 resident child present (19 points), ranging from infant to preschool-age, with 3 caregivers supervising. The children were engaged in the following: story time, learning, car play, block play, bathroom breaks, diapering, hand washing, lunch, and other organized activities. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration; physical plant; staffing and supervision; programming; special care and emergencies; and nutrition. A total of 8 children files, 3 staff files, and 5 household records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined that there was not a violation to an applicable standard, code, and/or law. Therefore, a Violation Notice was not issued.
