Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today, 3/11/24 from 11:00 to 11:55.
The provider had 4 children in care totaling 9 points. Observed the children playing with lots of toys, building towers and playing with Duplos. Lots of interaction between the provider and children. Observed getting ready for lunch and diapering as well during the inspection.
Reviewed 3 household member files as well as 4 children's files.
A violation notice was given to the provider with this inspection summary.

Standard #: 8VAC20-800-60-B
Description: Based on the review of 4 children's files, the provider failed ensure that the children's files were complete for two children.
Evidence: 2 siblings, child 1 and child 2, is missing a second emergency contact.

Plan of Correction: I will ask the parent for a second emergency contact.
