An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 2:45-3:30pm with the provider and her assistant. There were five children in care, ranging from eight months to three years of age, for a total of 12 points. Children were observed waking up from nap, eating snack and preparing to go outside to play. Snack served today: mixed fruit and milk. Two child records, three caregiver records, the emergency drill log, daily attendance, menu, and posted information were reviewed. The provider is not certified in Medication Administration Training (MAT) and cannot administer medication to children in care.
