Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on 03/22/24 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:06 a.m. with the provider. There were eight children in care, ranging in age from 22-months to four-years-old, for a total of 17 points. Children were observed playing with puzzles. Five child records, two staff records, and one household member records were reviewed. The provider has current certification in CPR and First Aid. No medications were on site and the provider understands that they must obtain certification in Medication Administration Training (MAT) to give medication. The first aid kit, flashlight, weather band radio, and fire extinguisher were observed. The emergency drill log, attendance, and menu were also reviewed. Description: Based on record review and interview, the provider did not obtain a fingerprint-based background check report every five years from the date of the last check.
