Technical Assistance:
The renewal application was discussed.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 12;15pm and 1:30pm. There were 6 children directly supervised by 2 caregivers. The home, 3 caregiver records, 6 children?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed during naptime. There was an assortment of age appropriate materials for children. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.

Standard #: 8VAC20-800-180-A
Description: Based on review of caregiver records, the provider did not obtain a current Report of Tuberculosis Screening form, every two years from the date of the first screening,
Evidence
The Report of Tuberculosis Screening form for staff #1 expired 4/1/2024, and for staff #2 expired 3/27/2024.

Plan of Correction: TB screenings will be completed, we will make sure in the future they get done before they are expired.

Standard #: 8VAC20-800-210-A
Description: Based on review of staff records, caregivers did not obtain a minimum of sixteen clock hours of training annually in areas relevant to their job responsibilities.
Evidence
Caregiver #1 and caregiver #2 did not obtain any hours of training annually.

Plan of Correction: We will complete the 16 hours of training and make sure we complete training every year.
