Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on April 16th, 2024. Two inspectors were on site from approximately 11:20am until 12:25pm. There were two children present with one caregiver supervising, totaling four points. Children were observed in variety of activities including art activity with color dots and making wind chimes, eating lunch and indoor play. Caregiver interacted with children in a positive manner. Inspectors interacted with caregiver and children in care.

The inspectors reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, personnel, household members, caregiver training, physical equipment and environment, emergencies, nutrition, medication administration, care of children. A total of two child records, one caregiver record and one household member record were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. If you have any questions, please contact the licensing inspector.

The Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) assumed oversight of childcare licensing and monitoring on July 1, 2021. All associated regulations and codes have transferred over from the Virginia Department of Social Services.
