A renewal inspection was conducted on April 12, 2024 with the provider. There were 4 children present, ranging in age from 10 months to 4 years, totaling 10 points. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 0 child records, 1 provider, and 2 household member records were reviewed. The older children were sitting in individual spots on the carpet playing blocks - please provide a wider variety of activities.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 22.1-289.036-A Description: Based on review of two household member records, the provider failed to have household members complete subsequent background checks in accordance with the Code of Virginia every five years. Evidence: The record for Household member 2 contained results of a search of the central registry check (CPS check) dated 2018, but did not have an updated CPS check. Plan of Correction: A repeat CPS check was submitted into the portal.
