An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on April 24, 2024 approximately 12:35 pm to 1:25 pm. There were 12 children for a total of 25 points directly supervised by 2 staff. The home, 2 staff records, 3 children?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children werer observed resting. There was an assortment of age appropriate materials for children. The home was clean and organized.

Standard #: 8VAC20-800-510-C Description: Based on observation, the family day home provider did not occupied cots were not at least 12 inches from each other.
Evidence:
1. The Provider had 12 children all laying on cots in the front room area. The children cots were not 12 inches from each other.Plan of Correction: Moved sofa, made more space for kids Attached pictures as a provement to inspector through email.
