Evidence: In the toddler room, age 16-24 mos., there were 10 children resting with one staff supervising. The staff/child ratio for this age group is 1:5, and may be doubled at rest time. Ratios are determined by the age of the youngest child in the group. An infant (child under 16 months) was In the toddler room today during rest time which changes the ratio for the group to 1:4. The infant ratio may not be doubled at rest time, therefore it remains at 1:4 at all times.

Plan of Correction: We will move the child back to the infant room.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-430-B
