1. Discussed with staff keeping in contact with school administration regarding needed documentation.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 3:50pm-5:05pm. There were 55 children directly supervised by 6 staff. The physical plant, 4 children?s records, 4 medications, evacuation drills, 1 injury report, and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in having snack, playing outside, and playing musical chairs. There was an sufficient supply of materials for the children. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-550-M Description: Based on record review, 1 of 1 injury reports did not include all required information. Evidence: 1. Child #1's injury report did not include the time the injury occurred. Plan of Correction: This information was recorded, during the inspection.
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-560-K Description: Based on direct observation, the tables used for snack were not sanitized after the children ate. Evidence: 1. Staff was observed wiping the table with a disinfectant wipe. However, the table was at no time sanitized according to standard. Plan of Correction: The staff sanitized the tables after being notified of the deficiency. Staff we will start spraying the tables to sanitize them.
