Comments:
17 children present with two staff during this renewal inspection. The children were observed arriving from school, playing and doing homework. The children are doing art, reading and playing with LEGO's . Lots of interaction between staff and children observed. Please call me at 703-203-8659 if you have any questions regarding this visit. This visit was started at 2:10 and ended at 3:20.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-510-A
Description: The center failed to get new authorizations or doctors authorizations for two emergency medications. Evidence: based on the review of 3 medications, two medications have authorization from the parent for ten days. The medication authorization expired on the 26th of September. the authorizations were signed by the parent and is still waiting for the doctors signature.

Plan of Correction: We will make sure we ask the parent for the doctors authorization and will get a new authorization from the parent until then.
